Background
The Chinese Zodiac is a traditional Chinese system representing years using twelve animals, with each animal symbolizing a specific year.
These twelve animals are the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. According to this system, each person's birth year corresponds to one of these zodiac animals.
Do you know why these 12 animals were chosen?
And do you know how this order came about?

Summary of the Story
The story behind the Chinese zodiac sorting originates from ancient Chinese legend.
Twelve animals participated in a race to cross a turbulent river, the Yellow River.
The Rat, being clever and agile, utilized the strength of the Ox to leap to the opposite bank first, followed closely by the Ox itself. Subsequently, the other animals followed suit, eventually completing the race.
Thus, the sequence of these 12 animals was established, forming the order of the Chinese zodiac.
